I’m posting these here to act as a reference for me in the future. It’s a list of applications from a recent brainstorm I think I could write, and have some vested interest in.

Pulls from multiple review sites

Tracks history of app on charts

* Scrabble Clone

With tools to help improve

2-letter words, 3-letter words, etc.

* IRC Client

Embed support for Youtube, Google Docs, etc.

* Lords of Pain iPhone app

Forums support (might need user authentication for live threads)

* Wrestling Podcast Tracker iPhone App

Ability to view podcasts in different categories (Raw, TNA, Indies, etc)

Extension to Web App?

* /r/tf2 pic explorer

(similar to Google Reader Play)

* Revised Twitter Feed

For replies, show what post and user is being replied to.

Google Chrome Extensions

My currently used Chrome Extensions:

Adthwart

By preventing the display of ads, AdThwart makes browsing the web less taxing on both your computer and your sanity. Choose from a number of filter lists, including the continuously updated EasyList. You can just install and forget it.

It works pretty well, defaulting to the same filter subscription that Adblock Plus for Firefox uses. I can't right-click and block an element on a page like the Firefox addon can, but it's sure to come.

RSS Subscription Extension (by Google)

This extension auto-detects RSS feeds on the page you are reading and upon finding one will display an RSS icon in the Omnibox, allowing you to click on it to preview the feed content and subscribe.
